Level 5
Extended Diploma in Business

The ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management is a 120-credit size qualification and is the equivalent size and level to the 2nd year of a Bachelor’s degree. This qualification is designed to develop your understanding of management and to develop key management skills. The aim of the qualification is to provide key aspects in the field of business and management; it also provides a fast track to higher education as students can directly join the final year of a Bachelor degree.

As it explores the basis of entrepreneurial activity, this course will develop your essential business and management skills so you can identify and respond to any type of business opportunity. It also allows you to apply theory to practice by undertaking live projects for local industry partners.

UK & EU Students:

  • Prior study in business, management or related subjects at level 4 or above
  • Other related level 3 subjects such as ATHE Level 3 Diplomas.
  • A level 4 qualification for example an ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Business and Management or an ATHE Level 4 Diploma in Business and Administrative Management.
  • Other equivalent international qualifications.

International Students:

  • A levels or International Baccalaureate (IB).
  • Level 4 Diploma in Business or other equivalent international qualification.

English Requirments

  • For this course it is Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no element below 5.5.

Learners will take 4 mandatory units worth 60 credits in total and a further 4 optional units totalling 120 credits.

Tuition fees cover the cost of a student’s academic studies. This usually includes teaching costs, registration and examination fees (not repeat or tailing modules, re-sit fees or coursework resubmission). Any costs associated with work placements will be the students responsibility.

Step 1 → Apply
Submit your application. Share a bit about yourself and what’s driving you to start a career.

Step 2 → Admissions interview
Speak with an Admissions representative in a non-technical interview. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little better. Nothing technical — just a friendly conversation.

Step 3 → Admissions decision
You’ll receive an admissions decision within a few days of completing your Admissions interview. If accepted, you’ll prepare for the first 14 days of the program, a busy and critical time. During these 14 days, you’ll complete various requirements to continue in your cohort.
