General English

Everyone have their own reasons for learning English. Some start from scratch, whereas some focus broadening their horizons. However, in order to add value to your skills, you need to have a solid base, clear fundamentals and an active zeal to learn and explore new things. Therefore, our General English course furnishes our students with everything they need to excel in their career. Our fun and engaging General English course will help you to develop all four language skills that are indispensable for an effective communication, i.e. Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. In addition, we have designed our General English course as such so that it suits the demands of students who are looking to improve their English for the preparation of education and a corporate English speaking environment.

  • Develop your own business idea through the Business School’s Incubator and access support through a local ‘Business Angels’ network.
  • Learn to innovate and adapt to volatile, ambiguous and complex situations.
  • Gain insights into contemporary management which will help you prepare for a career in entrepreneurship.
  • Gain Associate Membership of the Chartered Management Institute – there will be a charge for membership of the professional bodies
  • Enhance your employability through internships, consultancy projects, a one-year paid placement and integrated coaching from experienced business leaders.
  • Experience international cultures and develop a global mind-set through options to work and study abroad.
  • Work with academics and entrepreneurs who have extensive experience of management, consultancy or running their own business.

Before starting, your level of English should be A1 (Elementry) at a minimum.

Please note the minimum age for students wishing to join this course is 16 years old.

Tuition fees cover the cost of a student’s academic studies. This usually includes teaching costs, registration and examination fees (not repeat or tailing modules, re-sit fees or coursework resubmission). Any costs associated with work placements will be the students responsibility.

2 – 4 Weeks: £200/weekly

6 – 12 Weeks: £190/weekly

14 – 22 Weeks: £180/weekly

24 – 32 Weeks: £ 170/weekly

What the application process looks like

We don’t just admit individual students; we curate a community. Our online coding bootcamp students come from myriad backgrounds and prior career paths — ensuring that a diversity of thought and perspectives enrich every student’s experience.

Step 1 → Apply
Submit your application. Share a bit about yourself and what’s driving you to start a career.

Step 2 → Admissions interview
Speak with an Admissions representative in a non-technical interview. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little better. Nothing technical — just a friendly conversation.

Step 3 → Admissions decision
You’ll receive an admissions decision within a few days of completing your Admissions interview. If accepted, you’ll prepare for the first 14 days of the program, a busy and critical time. During these 14 days, you’ll complete various requirements to continue in your cohort.
