Level 7
Extedned Diploma in Strategic Management

Extended Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management is a 120-credit Ofqual regulated qualification. This qualification offers a flexible option for people who have already achieved awards in the management field at a lower level, as well as individuals that are qualified in other areas. The programme is designed to allow an alternative qualification to be gained. Similarly, if an individual is not certain about committing to the 120-credit course, he or she can opt for the 60-credit course and still achieve a recognised qualification.

The qualification covers key areas of management such as Organisational Behaviour, Strategic Human Resource Management and Finance for Strategic Managers. It provides the option to undertake an MBA top-up at many universities in the United Kingdom or others worldwide. The qualification typically takes 8 months full-time study or 16 months of part-time study.

UK & EU Students:

  • We normally require a second class honours degree (2:2) or above
  • Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of two years continuous workplace experience gained in a managerial or professional job following graduation
  • Applicants without an honours degree need to demonstrate relevant workplace experience.
  • Other equivalent international qualifications.

International Students:

English Requirments

  • The most commonly accepted evidence of English language ability is IELTS 6.5 (with minimum 6.0 in all components).

Tuition fees cover the cost of a student’s academic studies. This usually includes teaching costs, registration and examination fees (not repeat or tailing modules, re-sit fees or coursework resubmission). Any costs associated with work placements will be the students responsibility.

UK & EU Students:

Step 1 → Apply
Submit your application. Share a bit about yourself and what’s driving you to start a career.

Step 2 → Admissions interview
Speak with an Admissions representative in a non-technical interview. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little better. Nothing technical — just a friendly conversation.

Step 3 → Admissions decision
You’ll receive an admissions decision within a few days of completing your Admissions interview. If accepted, you’ll prepare for the first 14 days of the program, a busy and critical time. During these 14 days, you’ll complete various requirements to continue in your cohort.
